The story behind the brand

why maevan?
The word “maven” means “an expert or connoisseur”.
My daughter's middle name is Mae, after my late grandmother.
Mae + Maven = Maevan
“Maevan” represents the new beginning that this business created for me. After years of burning myself out in the corporate marketing world, I decided that I didn’t want to go back after my daughter was born.
I didn’t want her to watch her mom go do a job every day that made her feel like she wasn’t “enough” of something.
So, Maevan was born.
And the rest is history.
