What is SEO?
SEO stands for search engine optimization. It’s the process of putting keywords in the right places on your website so Google can understand what your site is all about, then in turn show it to people who are looking for you.
How do I know if I need SEO?
I may be biased, but I believe everyone needs SEO. Why? Because SEO is the ONLY type of marketing that literally tells us what to say and how to talk about our businesses. If we don’t understand how our dream clients look for us, everything else is a shot in the dark.
When will my site show up on Google after I put keywords on it?
Putting keywords on your website does not guarantee that you will show up on Google. Generally speaking, you can expect to see some keyword movement within 3-6 months after optimizing your website assuming you are using the right keywords in the right places.
How long does it take for SEO to work?
Generally speaking, SEO takes 3-6 months to take hold. Then, over the next 6 months - 1 year, you will start to see more results (like getting more traffic from Google) as you continue to apply your SEO strategy.
What does it mean to rank on Google?
Ranking on Google means that Google deems your website worthy enough to be listed as a result to someone’s search.
